I just removed my children – two boys – from a top ranked New Jersey secular public school system In that system my children were consistently pathologized and their individual needs dismissed in a compassion-free, meet-the-numbers method of an institution-first instructional philosophy.
They started in a Catholic school six weeks ago, the difference has been world altering for them. The whole child has been met there. They are recognized as individuals and taught – with example – to be authentic.
If you ever think that the philosophy of the organizations you rely on, work with or entrust your loved ones with, does not matter – my experience should enlighten you.
